India is looking for to have MQ 1 Avenger Predator XP drone from U.S. This is highly advanced drone that can use in combat also with aerial surveillance. There is the news that India requested to U.S. for buying 100 such drones of around $2 billion. This helps India to have better surveillance over the border and other anti-peace places.
The USAF BIG SAFARI program office managed the Predator program and was given direction in the spring of 2000 to explore options to arm the aircraft. This led to it being fitted with reinforced wings and stores pylons to carry munitions, as well as a laser designator. This effort led to a series of tests, on 21 February 2001, in which the Predator fired three hellfire antitank missiles. These travels with supersonic speed and can hit the target before they know it is coming. Lets see where this deal goes and hope India prime minister and defense minister could go and get it or who knows there are the project running in Make In India already.
