Hichki is an upcoming Indian Bollywood film, directed by Sidharth Malhotra and produced by Maneesh Sharma under the banner of Yash Raj Films.
The film is an adaptation of Hollywood movie “Freedom Writers (2007)” and “Front of the Class (2008)” though no official word from the film makers yet.
The film stars Rani Mukherji in the lead role of a teacher having Tourette syndrome. The film’s trailer was launched on December 19, 2017 and the film will be released on February 23, 2018.
Hichki, it is a remake of a 2008 film Front of the Class (film), took two months to film. The principal photography commenced on 4 April 2017 and the final scenes were shot on 5 June 2017. The crew wrapped up the patch up shoot with Mukherji on 12 November 2017.
