Tumhari Sulu is an upcoming Indian comedy-drama film, directed by the Suresh Triveni and produced under the banners of T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment.
Vidya Balan (Sulochana a.k.a. Sulu) essays the role of a night radio jockey in Mumbai. The film stars Manav Kaul as Sulu’s husband, Neha Dhupia as Sulu’s Boss, and renowned RJ, Malishka, as Albeli Anjali. Tumhari Sulu will release worldwide on 17 November 2017.
Tumhari Sulu is a comical slice-of-life film for the youth and families. Vidya Balan essays the role of a beautiful, enthusiastic and happy-go-lucky Mumbai housewife whose routine life changes when she unexpectedly lands herself with the exciting job of a night RJ on a leading radio station.
The music of the film is composed by Guru Randhawa, Rajat Nagpal, Tanishk Bagchi, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Amartya Rahut and Siddhant Kaushal while the lyrics have been penned by Guru Randhawa, Rajat Nagpal, Javed Akhtar, Vayu, Siddhant Kaushal and Santanu Ghatak.
The first song of the film “Ban Ja Rani” from Guru Randhawa’s 2016 album “Tu Meri Rani” has been recreated for this film and it was released on 16 October 2017.
The second song of the film titled as “Hawa Hawai 2.0” from Anil Kapoor’s 1987 film Mr. India has also been recreated for this film by music composer Tanishk Bagchi and it was released on 26 October 2017.
